Mostly, I write about television, and with this being the home of the Great Buffy Rewatch of 2011, a lot of that television is Joss Whedon-related (when it's not about Lost). Stick around if you love Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Sherlock, Lost, BtVS, Doctor Who, or anything on HBO.

Check it out!
It's one of my favourite people, talking about one of my least favourite people.
Why is it that if John Cleese says something you have to believe him? You couldn't have proved how insane Sarah Palin is more if u had actually used God.
Wow...and I just now stopped reading your blog. Before this post(and its reprehensible title) I was actually thinking you were cool...I mean, come on...Lost, BSG, Buffy? What's not to like?
Oh yeah--a Canadian ripping on U.S. politics. Right.
OK, I'm being facetious. You're right; it's a little harsh calling Sarah Palin the antichrist. It suggests she's some mastermind, and we all know that's not the case.
As for my Canadianness, sigh. I'll just direct you to this post, and it's up to you whether or not to read it. I think some Americans sincerely don't realize the impact their country has on the rest of the planet, and others choose not to. I don't know what camp you're in, but I hope this explains why Canadians have every right to discuss US politics.
And just a quick note: If you'd left your post without the last sentence, it would have made more of an impact. I wouldn't like to know that I offended something by making a religious crack at the top of a post. I would have actually gone in and changed it for you. But you had to go and say you're leaving because I'm a Canuck. Nice. I guess I shall bid you happy trails. May you find lots of TV blogs written by Americans who can say whatever they want about US politics.

ReplyDeleteThe closing line to that makes it classic.
ReplyDeleteJohn Cleese is brilliant...and dead on in his comments here.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Nice!

Lula: "Check it out" is a reprehensible title?
