Mostly, I write about television, and with this being the home of the Great Buffy Rewatch of 2011, a lot of that television is Joss Whedon-related (when it's not about Lost). Stick around if you love Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Sherlock, Lost, BtVS, Doctor Who, or anything on HBO.
This was FAAABULOUS!!! Don’t know how I’ve missed seeing it all these years, but better late than never. Nikki, thanks so much for sharing. It made my morning! :)
I've not seen that one either! I had a roommate in the 80s(yeah, I'm over 40, get over it) that gave me a house initiation: I had to recite on command the entire conversation of Mrs Premise and Mrs Conclusion. I can still recall it perfectly, yet can't remember to get the mail.
"Hello, Mrs. Premise." "Hello, Mrs. Conclusion." "Busy day?" "Busy! I just spent four hours burying the cat!" "Four hours to bury a cat?" "It wouldn't keep still, and was howling its head off!"
This is actually a rare sketch from Monty Python -- they did it as part of a German episode for German television (and yes, it was entirely in German; I've seen it a few times), and then they overdubbed this one and re-aired it for their live show, "Live at the Hollywood Bowl." I always loved the way Michael Palin says, "VICIOUS WOLF!" ;) The dog always made me laugh.
