Plus, due to her name, I couldn’t help but think, “Winterfell has gone [0] days without a workplace injury.”

Blamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07342343767763035991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30892649.post-29892705688436470272016-05-22T19:04:21.469-04:002016-05-22T19:04:21.469-04:00Wonderful! I think this is the first time that I felt they are just starting to put the pieces in place for an endgame of the show with all these characters coming together and Dany actually talking once again about heading to Westeros.

Jamie & Bronn (WHERE IS HE?) = good bromance. Cal and Jorah not so much. Cal is so much better in the Clone Club!

Interesting plan the Tyrells & Lannisters. Though I wonder if this is some sort of ploy by the Tyrells to simply take control of the capitol for themselves.

Say what you want about Ramsay but he can put together an effective letter.

Sad about Osha dying - she was a fav during the early seasons. Also I have to say they missed out not having Aubrey Plaza play her. Just imagine April Ludgate loose in Westeros.

As always thank you for the great recap!!!

-Tim AlanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30892649.post-35523965986429461962016-05-19T23:40:27.878-04:002016-05-19T23:40:27.878-04:00The killing off of non-essential personnel in seri...The killing off of non-essential personnel in serialized TV shows has gotten to be such a THING in recent years, it should have its own name, like exposition, denouement, or curtain call! Maybe “The Slaughter”? This week, GoT got rid of poor Osha, and in the first episode of the season, as you mentioned, the Sand Snakes took out Prince Doran and Areoh. The decks are well and truly being cleared. It reminds me of LOST 5.02 “The Lie”, when the flaming arrow attack neatly got rid of all the remaining red shirts in one action-packed sequence. The big difference in GoT is that the recently demised characters are people that we have gotten to know, at least a little bit. I liked Osha, and I’ll miss her. The Stark boys will miss her, too.Marebabenoreply@blogger.com
