Mostly, I write about television, and with this being the home of the Great Buffy Rewatch of 2011, a lot of that television is Joss Whedon-related (when it's not about Lost). Stick around if you love Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Sherlock, Lost, BtVS, Doctor Who, or anything on HBO.
I tried to watch FNL on DVD but just couldn't get into it - I think the whole thing is just so outside my culture I couldn't relate. I don't understand American football and the British just aren't as passionate about team sport as the Texans!
Sadly, I'll be watching in the spring with the NBC reruns. I fell in love with this show this summer, with the first two seasons available on Netflix streaming (makes it very easy to get into a show).
Adored the first season. Unfortunately, as many others have said, the second season lost its way a lot (and the strike didn't seem to help matters). But the third season came back with a vengeance, giving me various goose-bumpy moments.
