Lost Season 4 DVD Announced
The Lost season 4 DVD box art has officially been released, along with the list of the bonus materials and the release date (December 9, 2008). This means they're essentially releasing it on the same day as last year. I still think it would be better for them to bring it out in October or November and give people a chance to watch it before season 5, but then again, they've tried it once and it apparently worked. Here's the artwork:

The bonus features are as follows (and subject to change):
• Lost Bloopers
• Audio Commentaries
• Deleted Scenes
• Lost on Location - Go on location with the cast and crew of Lost for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of some of Season Four's hottest episodes.
• Freighter Folk (working title) - Where did the folks on the freighter come from? Get to know them and find out what the show runners looked for in new cast members.
• Transforming Hawaii (working title) - From the deserted beach to urban Los Angeles, Hawaii serves as a global backdrop for the excitement and intrigue of Lost. Join the small army of technicians that transforms Hawaii to the Island as they go about their duties.
• Gun Tracking(working title) - Lost features a formidable array of firearms Get real life gun profiles and find out what it's like working with so much firepower.
• The Music of Lost (working title) - The Honolulu Symphony performs Michael Giacchino's award-winning score live for the first time ever. Witness the power of the show's many musical themes as well as its innovative use of instruments-and learn how music affects the production, from writing to directing.

You can read the full press release from last week here.

Yesterday, the release was updated, stating that we'll also be getting "The Lost Flashbacks" (flashbacks we didn't see on the show), and the "Oceanic Airlines Safety Guide." No word yet on whether they'll include the mobisodes. I hope they do, since they almost never worked on the ABC site, and I've only seen half of them. Thanks for the links, fb!

I never had a problem viewing the mobisodes on the ABC site.

texgeekboy: Are you in the U.S.? If so, it's probably OK for you, but outside of the U.S., it's hard to access them. I'm in Canada, and a lot of U.S. television websites close off their content if they detect the computer is outside the U.S.

Yes, I am in Texas. I now see that you're in Canada. I understand there may be a problem due to ABC network regulations.

BTW, have you posted anything on Cabin Fever? If not, will you be posting something soon?

Yes, I always post my reviews immediately following the episode, so if you go to my main page you'll see two posts on it.
