Here is the first of theblackbox's new themed videos remembering Lost. Beautiful. As I said to him, I've written up a long section in my episode guide for "The End" where I draw a line through the Jack/John relationship and show how Jack's faith in destiny evolved, and this video is pretty much the visual illustration of what I wrote!

You know, as much I'd love a DVD compilation of all these trailers, what I'd REALLY love is a CD collecting all the music.
Great stuff guys!
Teebore: I think a lot of theblackbox music is taken from the soundtrack for The Island, so maybe there IS a CD collecting the music! They've certainly made me want to go and buy it. :)
Good to know, thanks Nikki!
(That's The Island, as in the Michael Bay film, right? That would make sense, as Steve Jablonsky did it, and I adore his Steamboy score).
So, can we get a DVD of these trailers now, too? ;D
I don't think that a CD of Giacchino's music is commercially available as yet. Wouldn't that be fab? I kept hope alive for awhile the concert he gave in Hawaii at which Terry O'Quinn read various fictional 'messages in the bottle' would be repeated on a tour ... to no avail. Looks like that special event for the Finale was the last hurrah. *sniff* Oh, if only.
"Destiny" was the bomb, yo. Bravo, Black Box! Keep 'em comin'.
@humanebean: There are CD soundtracks for all of Lost's seasons (a two disc 6th season one is out soon, I believe), but I'd love to see something less like a traditional TV soundtrack release and more like an original compilation that focuses on the themes and motifs in his Lost music.
Basically, I'd love a CD with a full compositions of his various themes, not just as they appeared on the show.
Thanks Teebore! I don't know how I missed that but obviously I did. I would enjoy a 'theme' collection as well but I am going to look into picking up the existing discs. Hope all is well with you, Old Friend!
Hey Nik, was hoping you'd post about the Emmy's, obviously Lost got robbed! I had a bad feeling when Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson both lost in the supporting categories. I don't watch Mad Men and I hear it is awesome but I thought not giving Lost the Emmy in its last year was a slap in the face to its cultural impact on television. Yay to Modern Family, which almost made up for it.
@humanebean: All is well, Friend, and the same to you!
WOW! Just watched it & it is so beautifully done! Absolutely perfect in every way! What talent to be able to do this! Thanx for putting it on your blog!
