Who Indeed...

If you haven't watched last week's Community yet (Competitive Wine-Tasting), do. At the urging of my friend C, I jumped ahead last night (I'm a few eps behind) and watched the latest episode, which, as she told me, is basically a long send-up of people who write companion guides to TV shows. So I knew it would be awesome and I would love it. Abed takes a class taught by an academic who wrote this book:

And yes, the class "discussion" (for there is only one) that ensues is as hilarious as the title of that book promises. You can probably stream it on the network's site (City-TV in Canada) but definitely check it out.

I got a dirty look from David when I suggested a "Who's the Boss" academic conference.

I saw that and thought of you. Though a one word answer would definitely end a class on Who IS the Boss on Who's the Boss, I think we could have enough courses on LOST to support a minor degree in several disciplines.

I liked the "What WAS Happening?" book the prof had in his desk. I'd like to know.

Nik, you should read this letter written by Stephen Tobolowsky about how he got that part. It's pretty good.

I freaking LOOOOVE Community. And when I saw this episode, Nikki, I actually did think of you. The second book "What WAS Happening?" was the icing on the cake.

For all you LOST fans out there, did you hear that a certain actor from a certain show about a certain island is going to guest star in the Community finale this season? I won't spoil anything, but it's gonna be damn epic.

@The Question Mark - yes, I did hear indeed. Sounds good to me.

@Nikki - when you catch up to this week's episode, please post something. It was so perfect. I did actually post something last night on Facebook but I doubt anyone would have realized what I was talking about (and I did try to not include spoilers!) as most people I know do not like the show. We (meaning Justin and I) have even shown them the paintball episode and some started talking to others because they did not get it (not naming names...). They are missing SOOOO much. :)
