The Truth Is In Here...

As I've mentioned a couple of times on here, I've been working with William B. Davis, aka Cigarette Smoking Man from The X-Files, for the past year on his memoir. The launch is this Monday at the Gladstone, and he'll be speaking about his acting career and then signing books, so if there are any CSM fans out there, please come out! Here's your official invite:

Cool!
Btw, any posts coming soon on The X-Files' heir apparent...Fringe. Some great episodes so far. And tomorrow night's looks like it may be the best one yet

Holy freaking crap, that sounds like fun! Sorry I'm in the wrong country, or I'd totally be there. We're actually watching CSM's machinations at the moment, as we're doing an entire X Files rewatch (we've just watched Dreamland parts 1 and 2 - Michael McKean is a genius).

I also concur with Andy, and express my own desire for more Fringe posts. I was especially keen to discus the second episode of this season, which had a great twist on the serial killer angle. I miss the Fringe posts.

Colleen: Checking on the amount right now. It's $5 at the door, or free with purchase of the book. It retails for $22.95 but sometimes they sell for less, so let me check with the organizer and get back to you.

As for Fringe, I will be blogging on it soon, promise. It's been a whirlwind couple of weeks. When episode 2 aired, I was finishing my Lost keynote -- writing and practicing it -- and then I was away that weekend, so I didn't see the episode until Tuesday. Then I left for New Orleans on Wednesday and I was actually DOING my keynote when last week's episode was on, so I couldn't exactly watch it then, and I just got back Wednesday night and I had a book launch to attend last night, so I still haven't seen last week's ep. And I have a million other things I'm trying to catch up on. But I WILL post something soon, I promise! The second episode was killer. Best ep in a long time.

Tonight's may have topped any one before it, wow! Powerful stuff! John Noble deserves an Emmy as does Anna Torv. John Noble really shined in this one. Incredible performance. Going to be a helluva season! I hope it gets renewed for a fifth. If not, hopefully they'll be able to tie up everything and not get cancelled prematurely. Maybe we can collaborate on a Fringe book, eh?
Hope things slow down a bit for you and you're able to get some quiet time

So he's Canadian! I KNEW it! That level of malevolence and creeping evil just HAD to originate north of Frostbite Falls! (Oh, and save me a Tim bit.)

Awesome! I got to see him live once at an anti-smoking rally, and he came across as a capital gentleman!

The X-Files was my first Fandom:) So many memories of poorly written fanfiction on the incipient interwebs. . .I can't wait to read the book. I downloaded Bite Me! to my nook, will this book be available on Nook as well?
