Juno
My husband and I just went out to our first movie together since the baby was born, leaving the grandparents to watch the kids. We chose Juno. And now... my review.

Juno was excellent. And I think I loved it most for the same reason that one critic didn't; he was bent out of shape that there was no sudden major conflict dropped into the middle of the story. But I ask, why is it that every film needs such conflict? Why can't a movie just tell its story without having to resort to conventional Hollywood story plotting?

And once again, JK Simmons rocks all. The man can do no wrong on the screen.
