Mostly, I write about television, and with this being the home of the Great Buffy Rewatch of 2011, a lot of that television is Joss Whedon-related (when it's not about Lost). Stick around if you love Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Sherlock, Lost, BtVS, Doctor Who, or anything on HBO.

Nikki, you rock.
A great start to my day. You never need a reason to share a great Monty Python moment!
Ah, bliss.
I told you not too long ago about the pending attendance of my first sci-fi convention, right? Well, now it's happening NEXT WEEKEND, and as I read through the schedule for this thing, I am veritably staggered by the amount of stuff going on. Seriously, how am I supposed to choose between the solo BSG panel with Edward James Olmos and Mary McDonnell, or the 'Dukes of Hazzard' reunion with John Schneider and Catherine Bach?
Just kidding.
Anyway, there is only one event all weekend that I will absolutely not miss, regardless of crowd or conflict, and that is Terry Gilliam's 'Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' panel (during which I am relatively sure he will be showing us the entirety of the film, as is indicated by its 2.5-hour schedule block). Just thinking about it makes me want to jump up and dance a little Irish jig. Or slap myself in the face with a fish, just to make sure I'm not dreaming.
Marsters and Charisma Carpenter will be there, too -- I'll tell 'em you said "hi."
Thank you!
Hey Nikki, I kayak past this exact spot every week. It is at Teddington Lock in SW London on the river Thames. I live just a few hundred yards away. Every time I pass it I think of the fish slapping sketch:) Thanks for posting:)
