In these later episodes I'm starting to remember certain things in the upcoming S8 comics. Xander does look rather hot in that eye patch, I must say. ;)

Mostly, I write about television, and with this being the home of the Great Buffy Rewatch of 2011, a lot of that television is Joss Whedon-related (when it's not about Lost). Stick around if you love Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Sherlock, Lost, BtVS, Doctor Who, or anything on HBO.

Hey Xander and Anya - maybe that wasn't ONE more time. :)
Not only does Andrew not die - he moves on to Angel.
The Buffy/Giles rift is never fully repaired. It's sad.
Andrew may have been shocked out of his habit of embellishing the truth by Buffy, but he'll do it one more time in the series -- when he tells Xander that Anya died saving his life.
Am I the only one who thinks that Anya and Xander are basically back together by the time she dies? What does "back together" mean in this context? I mean, it's not like they're going to go on a date, or move back to Xander's apartment together. They admit that they still love each other, and spend their last days together. I think if Anya had lived, they would have gone back to being a couple.
Just the other day I was in the farmers' market and one of the Amish bakers said he'd take my order as soon as he done following some blog updates on Twitter.
No, really...
Don't text and buggy, Richard!
