As promised, today will be a day of our Great Buffy Rewatch contributors (and a few new faces!) talking about "Chosen," Buffy the Vampire Slayer in general, and/or the Rewatch itself. To start things off, I wanted to pay tribute to the many authors we had involved in the yearlong Rewatch by discussing the Buffy-centric books that many of them wrote (see below for links to most of them). So here is a VERY long video... you can zip ahead to see if I cover your book. (I think my voice actually goes out of synch at one point, but I haven't watched it back all the way through...) Enjoy! And please stay tuned to this blog, for throughout the day, every hour on the hour (the last one will go live at 10pm!), we'll have another post from someone talking about our favourite Slayer.

Thank you, Nikki! All the effort you've put into the Buffy Rewatch this year has been greatly appreciated by contributors & readers!
I’m having a busy morning, but I’ll be able to listen to this podcast later on, because I now have speakers on my computer at work. :) It’s such an important principle, and it’s so simple: just ASK FOR THINGS! About 30 minutes after requesting speakers, I had speakers. So for now, all my needs have been met. Yayyy!!
Think i'm gonna go broke :)
No better way to do it!
Well, I'm home from work, it's 6:25 p.m., and I've just finished watching the most informative Book Club podcast. I sometimes wish I could do nothing but read, and I especially wish that today! Thanks for all the glowing recommendations. (You should really try to be a little enthusiastic in your presentation.) Seriously, my shopping list is now a lot longer. Great stuff!
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
I SOOOOO wanted this list!
It really is Christmas! :)
And please stay tuned to this blog, for throughout the day, every hour on the hour ... we'll have another post from someone talking about our favourite Slayer.
No! You have given me too much to read! Help! Do you not realize that this is the time I have to catch up on all of my favorite blogs before winter-holiday and end-of-year posts make us all feel sick and outdated?!? Curse you, Nikki Stafford!
Sigh... Of course I'm not really angry with you. It's so hard to stay mad at Canadians, especially when they're using words like "favourite". I giggle with oblivious American condescension in your general direction.
Hey Nikki,
thank you very much for the time and effort you put in the rewatch. I was reading "Buffy goes dark" on the train yesterday and thinking about how watching Buffy changed my life in so many ways. First of all it got me into reading academical texts. The first book I read about Buffy was the highly recommended "Why Buffy matters" and this was just the beginning. :) Buffy granted me access to a new world of thinking and I am thankful for that.
Bless you, Nikki! And Happy New Views!
Rhonda
