"Watch Your Cartoons, Goober..."

Hey all. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but my entire family was hit with the stomach flu on the weekend. At the same time. It's one thing to lie in bed wanting to die for two days, it's quite another to be looking after a 4-year-old, a 1-year-old, and a husband while also wanting to die for 2 days. Ugh. Yesterday I watched the new season 5 sneak peek (involving Kate and Aaron), and it's pretty exciting. I will warn you, however, this is a scene from the new season, and therefore is a bit of a spoiler. I hope they don't release too many of these, but as a standalone, it's exciting and has me anticipating the new season with even more glee. (I believe this is going to be from the premiere episode, "Because You Left.")

And honestly, the more I see the kid who plays Aaron, the more I think they found someone who really looks like Claire. (A little odd, though, that Kate puts a suitcase together with some clothes for herself, but nothing for Aaron.)

You can watch the sneak peek here. Check it out quickly, because ABC will soon replace it with something else.

Also, for an interview with Darlton, check out Television without Pity. Mildly spoilery. Thanks to fb for the link!

You poor thing! I actually had a horrible stomach bug myself on the weekend but, luckily, Gary & Hayley did not. Hope you're feeling better. Can't wait for LOST!!!

Oooh, yum! I am loving this and also kind of wishing I could un-see it all at once.

I think he actually looks like a great mix between Claire & Thomas (who is himself a creepy Ben Linus lookalike - have you noticed? http://tinyurl.com/6lbxuz).

Any theories about who is behind this? Because it sure smells like Ben to me...

After just watching the older shows on Sci-fi and seeing the Libby parts including her getting shot....makes me sad to read that we won't be learning the history behind her involvement. Oh well, I guess you have to always sacrifice something to get the better deal. And I too, am beyond excited to get that better deal starting with Season 5!! So far with all the previews I have seen, it looks to be a really great season!!

The "client" smells like Ben to me too.

On a side note... Maybe it's just me, but Kate having a framed photo of Jack and Aaron seems a bit odd in light of the S4 finale.

You said "sneak peak." TWICE! (I forgive you, for it is the stomach flu that speaks.)

I CANNOT WAIT any longer for Lost. Make it start now, o spirit in the sky!

My theory is that their "client" is Jack, and this is his ploy to get her to go back to the island. He hired these men so that she had nowhere to run but to Jack, who is going back. He is the only one who knows without a doubt that Aaron is not her child (besides the other O6 but they don't care).

I hate to correct you over a such a small thing, Nikki, but Kate does actually pack some clothes for Aaron. Among other things, there are a small set of shoes next to her suitcase in one of the shots. http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff319/dharma4815lost/kateshot.png

As you can see, there's a collection of patterned, colorful, and childish clothing in her hands and a set of small, yellow sandals on the bed. Unless she's had an absolute falling out of her fashion sense, I can only assume they're clothes for Aaron.

Nitpicky, I know. Only LOST fans, right?

I'm thinking maybe Kate's mom, who wants to know if it's really her grandson, or somehow Claire's family found out Aaron could be Claire's son.

Darn, I know the guy at the door, but I can't remember from where.

@Rob: Excellent theory! Who else would there be to provide DNA evidence that they're Aaron's blood relative, since Kate clearly can't? Jack 'We have to go BAAAACK!!!' Sheppard, that's who! Good call, Rob. I didn't even think about who it could be when I first saw the footage. I was too busy drooling and making happy sounds at the prospect of new Lost. We all need our own flash-forward to Jan 21 '09!

I enjoyed following the whole entry, I always thought one of the main things to count when you write a blog is learning how to complement the ideas with images, that's exploiting at the maximum the possibilities of a ciber-space! Good work on this entry!
