Bionic Woman — Sneak Peek
I'm SO excited about this show (please let it be good, please let it be good) because it's the return of a classic, it's got Michelle Ryan in it (Zoe!), Katee Sackhoff plays a wicked badass, and David Eick is at the helm. Could it BE any better?? NBC has just produced the trailer, and for anyone who knows Ryan only as Zoe Slater, listening to this American accent is SO weird. It's like she has a different voice altogether. Warning: There are obviously spoilers for the first episode, but watching it made me more excited to see the show, not less. The tentative start date is September 26, 2007. Enjoy!

And the little sister is Egg... I mean Beth... I mean Bland... I mean Ann from "Arrested Development"
Pardon my ignorance, but who is Zoe?
Oh my goodness - I cannot wait for this show to start !!! And Zoe is weird with an American accent - for colleen/redeem147 - Michelle Ryan played the character Zoe Slater on the British soap EastEnders for many years - her character could be very whiny and annoying, but her character did have a rough storyline (sister was really her mother who had been molested by her uncle, slept with boyfriend's father in desperate attempt to become truly pregnant (as she had told her boyfriend she was pregnant with his baby) only to have him catch her in bed with his dad and leave her, only to end up pregnant with the dad's baby, get an abortion and believe that she murdered the dad....only in the soaps - no one can deny though that she's a stunner and she looks fantastic in this role!! :)
Ah - the only Eastenders I saw was in a Doctor Who charity special.
I'm equal opportunity, though - I don't watch Coronation Street either.
I was a HUGE fan of the original, back when I was in grade school. This has big nostalgia points going for it. Plus, the trailer looks fabulous. Even if it is a tad hokey, I don't care!
Katee Sackhoff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I cannot wait to see her as bad ass bad bionic woman. That is going to ROCK! I hope they give her a sort of good/bad thing. I don't want her to be merely an enemy. I want to feel for her situation.
This is *so* going on my TiVO Season Pass list!
I can't think of a better actress to have played the modern day Bionic Woman than Michelle Ryan. Glad to have this on dvd. It's worth re-watching at least once a year. It's that good. There is no comparison between this Bionic Woman and the version Lindsey Wagner starred in. Both shows are equally entertaining in my eyes.
