Introducing...
Liam Mackenzie! Born in the wee hours of the morning of Sunday, Saturday 23, Liam arrived amidst talk of Big Love (when my husband was shovelling ice chips into my mouth I said it was like Barbara on Big Love who eats ice chips whenever stressed out), Friday Night Lights (my husband kept yelling, "Clear eyes! Full hearts!" and I'd say "Can't lose!" for about the first half of labour, and then it just wasn't funny anymore...), and ultimately, Lost (my doula's first reaction to him being born the morning of the 23rd was, "That's one of Hurley's numbers!") He'll be a true TV baby. He's a sweet boy, and even though Mommy still hasn't been able to watch Heroes, I know he'll let me do so soon.

Oh wow Nikki, all the best to the new cute little addition to the family. How you are keeping up with the blog at this busy exciting time is beyond me! But we appreciate it.

Take some time out for yourself, Mommy!

Glad you didn't name him Sylar (I would have been very worried LOL)

love your blog and what I've read from you, especially your newest version of "bite me" (sorry, my english might be a bit off, I'm swedish). Your take on motherhood are also worth reading. About your little story of the birth of your son I come to think of my plans for when I gave birth to my daughter a couple of weeks ago, I had loaded my mp3 with the omwf- soundtrack, I thought that "walking trough the fire" would be good for the more painful parts of delivery, but she decided to come a litle earlier than we expected so I forgot it at home. However, during the pregnancy I began to rewatch buffy for the third time anf then I had season 6 and 7 left,(great for the long hours of breastfeeding) and my daughter relaxes to the buffy- intro music...another tv- baby in the making=)

and what a wonderful little boy you have there=)
